Inspection Reports
In March 2023, St Mary's was inspected by OFSTED. The inspection was an interim inspection with the inspector noting:
- Pupil's enjoy being part of the St Mary's family. Pupils behave well in class and at breaktimes.
- Pupils benefit from leaders' increasingly high expectations of what they can achieve.
- Teachers spot any pupils who may be falling behind quickly. The curriculum is ambitious.

In February 2024, the school was visited a Church School Inspector (SIAMs). All church schools receive additional inspections as part of their independent structure. It is a part of OFSTED and takes place every four years. The inspector made these comments in his report of the school:
- St Mary’s has unrelenting aspiration for all.
- There is a relentless quest for all to be successful and belief in the potential of every pupil.
- A culture of nurturing throughout the school shapes relationships. People feel safe and accepted.
