Uniform

At St Mary’s, we are proud of our school uniform as it can play a key role in:

  • promoting the ethos of our school
  • providing a sense of belonging and identity
  • setting an appropriate tone for education

Our School Uniform can be purchased from our local school uniform shop ‘Rough Cut Casuals’ – located in Chapel Market.

They are local to the school, are open 7 days a week, and you can buy the uniform online.

Pre-loved Uniform

We welcome donations of uniform from parents. We all know how quickly children can grow, so please do pass on your uniform so it can be worn again. Please drop off any donations to the school office. These will be washed at school and sold at our regular uniform sales in the playground. If you would like to browse through and purchase pre-loved uniform at any other time, please speak to the office team as they would be happy to help.

Uniform Grant

If your child is an Islington resident and is eligible for free school meals, they’re eligible for the uniform grant as well. We’ll pay £150 to help meet the cost of school uniforms when your child transfers to secondary school from year 6. You must apply for this service using the citizens portal.
